The project
I own the mobile app end to end — architecture, native modules, feature delivery, releases, and store listings. Since initializing the repository in July 2025 I have authored 2,000+ commits — about 75% of its history — and I lead a team of 3 mobile engineers with a review gate on every feature that ships. The app spans 110+ expo-router screens across a 260,000-line TypeScript, Swift, and Kotlin codebase.
The stack is Expo, React Native and React. The headline feature is a cross-platform Savings Assistant built as two in-house native modules: a Swift module exposing Siri Shortcuts (App Intents) and WidgetKit home- and lock-screen widgets on iOS, and a Kotlin accessibility-service module that surfaces live savings and coupons as an overlay on Android.
Payments run through six gateways — Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, PhonePe, Easebuzz, and CCAvenue — with UPI flows, verification retries with safe timeouts, and sanitized payment logging, covered by Detox end-to-end tests. Releases ship through EAS cloud and local builds with OTA update channels, guarded by a PIN + biometric app lock, VPN detection.

Lead Mobile Engineer — sole end-to-end owner of the app. Authored 2,000+ commits (~75% of its history) and lead a team of 3 engineers; every shipped feature is architected and reviewed by me.
What I built
- End-to-end ownership — architecture, native modules, release lifecycle, and App Store / Play Store management across 2,000+ commits (~75% of the codebase's history)
- Custom Swift module for the Savings Assistant: Siri Shortcuts via App Intents, WidgetKit home- and lock-screen widgets, installed-brand detection, and deep-link routing
- Custom Kotlin module for Android: accessibility-service Savings Assistant with an overlay bubble, contextual coupons, foreground-app detection, and WorkManager background refresh
- Six payment gateways — Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, PhonePe, Easebuzz, CCAvenue — with UPI flows, verification retries with safe timeouts, sanitized payment logging, and Detox E2E coverage
- MaxCoins loyalty: payment choices at checkout, point transfers to 10+ airline and hotel partners, and a transfer calculator
- Card management: apply, load money, and set PIN flows for prepaid and credit cards
- App security: PIN + biometric lock, VPN detection, network-interception guard, and encrypted SecureStore/MMKV storage
- Stability engineering: resolved iOS out-of-memory crashes and optimized the feature for iOS
